Excursion Review for 2007 Pizza Cruise: Amore Pizza in St. Thomas

One of the highlights many of the Pizza Cruisers commented on was the Pizza Excursion on St. Thomas. After everyone explored the island, did some swimming and shopping and scootering around the island, everyone gathered at Pizza Amore, which is owned by New Jersey native John Bertorelli. Now for all of those doubters who say you can only make real New York style pizza in New York, try visiting Pizza Amore in St. Thomas. If you didn’t see everyone walking around in island shirts and shorts you would almost swear you were in a little pizzeria somewhere on 6th Avenue in NYC. John talked about running a pizzeria in the islands where pizza supplies can be a bit difficult to come by and about running a pizzeria in the islands.
